Clos Cibonne Tibouren Côtes de Provence Cru Classé Rosé
Unlike other Provence rosés in so many ways, not least the Burgundian bottle - it's not a white wine! From old vines located high above the harbour at Toulon, the coastal location helping keep the grapes cool and dry, the wine is made predominantly from the Tibouren varietal. Direct pressed into stainless steel but subsequently aged 12 months in 100 year old casks. A complex nose of ripe red fruits, vanilla, some floral characteristics and even candied citrus. The palate is structured with some tannins and the finish is long and spicy.
