Burgundy's Aligoté grape can often be overlooked but in capable hands and with the right terroir, it can produce an expressive, aromatic and mineral wine. This example is from Mâcon (where Aligoté thrives) shows peach and pear fruit balanced by lemon and mineral flavours with a fresh finish.
