As the leaves turn golden and the air gets crisp, there’s no better time to explore the rich, amber hues of orange and skin contact wines. Just like the season itself, these wines are bold, complex, and full of character.

Often misunderstood, orange wines are made by leaving white grape skins in contact with the juice, creating beautiful depth and tannins that bridge the gap between white and red. Think of it as wine’s answer to autumn—warm, earthy, and just a little bit wild.

Join us as we guide you through various and distinct orange and skin-contact wines, from rustic, hazy bottles that transport you to a farm in Georgia (the wine country, not the state) to refined, elegant examples that could easily stand in for your favourite red.

We'll taste our way through 5 wines in total, each with an introduction and explanation. These wines will be served with savoury nibbles that help bring out the wines’ unique textures and flavours.

This tasting is open to all wine lovers and no prior tasting experience is required. 

This tasting takes place in the Must & Lees Tasting Room in the Must & Lees at 239 Liverpool Rd, N1 1LX. Prices are per person.
