Bride Valley Chardonnay, Dorset 2019
This is Dorset’s answer to Chablis. Fine bright yellow with green tints, nose showing some florally and white summer fruits, more depth of fruit than expected on the palate, attractively open for a very cool climate and the Granny Smith acidity refreshes the finish, definitely “Burgundian” with a good year or two in front of it.

Silver Medal in Wines of Great Britain (WineGB) Awards 2021.
Light lemon yellow in colour with spring and early summer flowers on the nose, well-expressed white, rather than yellow, summer fruits on the palate, with breadth and length lifted by natural acidity on the finish.
A lighter year than 2018 but the extra year's age on the vines retain the Chardonnay fruit.
