Domaine du Roc des Boutires, Pouilly-Fuissé 1er Cru Aux Chailloux 2022

Situated in the heart of the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation, Domaine du Roc des Boutires is named after its proximity to both the ‘Aux Bouthières’ Premier Cru and the famed ‘Roche de Solutré’, a limestone escarpment which overlooks the commune of Solutré-Pouilly. ‘'Aux Chailloux' is a prime vineyard site to the west of the village of Pouilly which was granted Premier Cru status in the 2020 classification of the Pouilly-Fuissé vineyards.

Pale lemon in colour. Aromas of ripe apricot, peach and lemon zest burst out of the glass. On the palate, there is a rich texture from the lees ageing, a marked minerality and a vibrant acidity carries the well-defined flavours onto the lingering finish.
