Gabrielskloof, Whole Bunch Syrah, Walker Bay, South Africa 2022

This is a vibrant and fresh Syrah. The nose is brimming with vivid aromas of black cherry, raspberry and violets. The palate is juicy with lively purity of fruit, crunchy acidity and a peppery, savoury edge to the finish.

 All of the Syrah grapes were hand-picked and whole bunch fermented for ten days to accentuate the variety’s primary aromas, while the stems provide additional structure and freshness. The wine was aged in stainless steel tanks for eight months prior to bottling to retain the wine's vibrant purity of fruit.
