Champagne may have a reputation for caviar and celebration, but few things suit it better than a packet of crisps.

Salt makes fruit more expressive, acidity cuts through fat, bubbles refresh the palate and the savoury, yeasty flavours found in Champagne have an almost suspicious affinity with fried potatoes.

Over five wines and five very different packets of crisps, we’ll explore how Champagne changes with food. An extremely serious tasting of some extremely unserious snacks.

This tasting is open to all wine lovers and no prior tasting experience is required. Prices are per person.
