World Cup Wines - A Knockout Tasting
7pm Wednesday 8th July 2026 at Must & Lees, 239 Liverpool Rd.
We're celebrating the 2026 World Cup (that's football, not soccer) with an interactive tasting aligned to the quarter final of the tournament. We can't guarantee that Ivory Coast or Scotland won't make the last 8 so we reserve the right of creative license but we'll otherwise try to include wines from each of the nations involved in the actual quarter finals.
Your role is simple - to decide in a blind tasting which is the best wine in each 'match' and deserving to go through to the next round. Don't worry all will be explained on the night...
The tasting will include 8 different wines and sharing platters of cheese, charcuterie and veggie snacks.
Our event's are open to all wine lovers and no prior tasting experience is required.
This event takes place in the Must & Lees Tasting Room at 239 Liverpool Rd, Islington, N1 1LX. Prices are per person.
