Jerôme Lacondemine makes Beaujolais Villages Nouveau from his vines grown on south-facing slopes around the town of Beaujeu. A lot of work and care goes into the vineyard so this is not just a fruity nouveau - it has more complexity and will evolve into an excellent Beaujolais Villages.

2024 Vintage: late flowering and damp conditions made this year very complicated but one that rewarded those who could spend more time in the vineyards. A very small harvest was saved by the typical warm August temperatures that resulted in very impressive quality of fruit. The challenge in the cellar was to make a wine that is tasting well now rather than spring 2025.

All wines are made using a traditional alcoholic fermentation and using no wood just stainless steel. There was no carbonic or semi carbonic maceration which is often used in Beaujolais Nouveau and Villages wines. The shortest amount of maturation before bottling.

The 'Sans Souffre' is bottled under vacuum, so no additional sulphites are required to protect the wine.
